Hello! I'm Carlos Hidalgo, and today I want to talk to you about a word that we use every day, but that holds more than it seems: economic. Throughout my life, I have had multiple experiences that have taught me the true scope of this term. So, make yourself comfortable and join me on this tour.
When we think of "economic", the first thing that comes to mind is something cheap or low cost. But is it just that? The reality is that this term has a breadth that goes beyond the superficial.
According to the dictionary, "economic" refers to everything related to economics or the efficient management of resources. In other words, it's not just about spending less, but about optimizing what we have to get the maximum benefit.
Let me tell you an anecdote. A few years ago, I decided to renovate my home. I had two options: hire a reputable company with a high cost or look for cheaper alternatives. I opted for the second option, but with a clear premise: not to sacrifice quality.
Researching, I found independent professionals with excellent references and more affordable prices. The result was an impeccable renovation and significant savings. This experience taught me that being thrifty is not synonymous with being tacit, but being smart in our financial decisions.
Being thrifty is a skill we should all cultivate. It's not about depriving ourselves of things, but about prioritizing and managing our resources efficiently.
Our relationship with money and resources is deeply influenced by our mentality. Adopting an economic mindset involves being aware of our decisions and understanding that every choice has an impact.
A abundance mindset allows us to see opportunities and be generous, while a scarcity one makes us feel that there is never enough. Being thrifty aligns more with abundance, as we seek the best use of our resources without feeling limited.
Being thrifty is an art that combines intelligence, planning and a positive mindset. It's not just about saving money, it's about living consciously and fully, making the most of what we have.
I hope this article has given you a new perspective on what it means to be thrifty and how you can apply it in your daily life.
See you next time!
