Methodology

Entre el material entregado en este curso se adjunta un documento llamado Guía del Alumno dónde aparece un horario de tutorías telefónicas y una dirección de e-mail dónde podrá enviar sus consultas, dudas y ejercicios. Además recibirá los materiales didácticos que incluye el curso para poder consultarlos en cualquier momento y conservarlos una vez finalizado el mismo.La metodología a seguir es ir avanzando a lo largo del itinerario de aprendizaje online, que cuenta con una serie de temas y ejercicios. Para su evaluación, el alumno/a deberá completar todos los ejercicios propuestos en el curso. La titulación será remitida al alumno/a por correo una vez se haya comprobado que ha completado el itinerario de aprendizaje satisfactoriamente.

What does it prepare you for?

With this course in refugee and immigrant care you will be able to acquire fundamental knowledge about social, health, educational, legal and labor intervention applied to this population. In addition, you will be able to see with special emphasis the relevant regulatory framework and understanding of their social situation in our country for a better intervention with them along with the analysis of the importance of volunteering.

Who is it aimed at?

This course in refugee and immigrant care is especially aimed at psychologists, social workers and social educators. Although it is a degree within the University's own teachings that does not qualify for professional practice, so according to Article 37.7 of Royal Decree 822/2021, of September 28, which establishes the organization of university education and the procedure for quality assurance for the degrees included in the University's own education that do not require a previous university degree for access to them, the purpose of these courses is the expansion and updating of knowledge, competences and training or professional skills that contribute to a better labor insertion of citizens without a university degree, so it will be open to any person without a university degree in health access who is interested in doing it.

The job opportunities offered by the Permanent Training Course in refugee and immigrant care are diverse. You will be able to work providing specialized legal advice as well as working as a technician in the management of social inclusion projects for this group. You will be able to work in governmental institutions as a reception and integration technician.
