Objectives

To know the different fundamental techniques for the handling and immobilization of animals.

To analyze animal organisms from the point of view of topographic anatomy, addressing the different systems and apparatus, such as bone, muscle, respiratory, reproductive, and nervous systems, among others.

To study the basic fundamentals of ultrasound in veterinary centers, the operation of the ultrasound machine and the principles of propagation of ultrasonic waves.

Methodology

Entre el material entregado en este curso se adjunta un documento llamado Guía del Alumno dónde aparece un horario de tutorías telefónicas y una dirección de e-mail dónde podrá enviar sus consultas, dudas y ejercicios. Además recibirá los materiales didácticos que incluye el curso para poder consultarlos en cualquier momento y conservarlos una vez finalizado el mismo.La metodología a seguir es ir avanzando a lo largo del itinerario de aprendizaje online, que cuenta con una serie de temas y ejercicios. Para su evaluación, el alumno/a deberá completar todos los ejercicios propuestos en el curso. La titulación será remitida al alumno/a por correo una vez se haya comprobado que ha completado el itinerario de aprendizaje satisfactoriamente.

What does it prepare you for?

This course in Veterinary Ultrasound is dedicated to those health professionals, specifically in veterinary medicine, for the correct performance of ultrasound using the various existing techniques and with respect to the different pathologies. Throughout the course the different units will be approached with the adequate training for the correct practice of ultrasound in veterinary centers.
