To study the basic knowledge about anatomy, physiology, pathology and biomechanics of the locomotor apparatus and other systems and apparatus of the human body subject to replacement or modification with orthopedic products.

To know the materials used in orthopedics.

To learn about the design, manufacture and control tests of orthopedic products.

Organize and manage quality assurance systems.

To learn about orthopedic products and their applications.

To develop the basic concepts of measurement, product adaptation and patient care.

Methodology

Entre el material entregado en este curso se adjunta un documento llamado Guía del Alumno dónde aparece un horario de tutorías telefónicas y una dirección de e-mail dónde podrá enviar sus consultas, dudas y ejercicios. Además recibirá los materiales didácticos que incluye el curso para poder consultarlos en cualquier momento y conservarlos una vez finalizado el mismo.La metodología a seguir es ir avanzando a lo largo del itinerario de aprendizaje online, que cuenta con una serie de temas y ejercicios. Para su evaluación, el alumno/a deberá completar todos los ejercicios propuestos en el curso. La titulación será remitida al alumno/a por correo una vez se haya comprobado que ha completado el itinerario de aprendizaje satisfactoriamente.

What does it prepare you for?

This University Expert in Orthopedics prepares you to carry out a complementary training in order to be able to apply for the opening of an orthopedics; in addition to having a professional output on their own or on behalf of others because the medical devices companies must have hired a technical manager, who will exercise direct supervision of the activity carried out by the company; and of course get training in the supervision of orthopedic products. General requirements for access: (a) To be in possession of a Spanish university degree. b) To be in possession of a foreign degree that is homologated. c) To be in possession of a foreign degree that is not homologated but that can be considered equivalent to an official Spanish university degree. d) Completion of at least 180 ECTS credits of a university degree. e) Professionals with recognized and accredited work and/or professional experience, related to the competencies inherent to the Expert degree. No specific requirements are established

Who is it aimed at?

This Expert in Technical Management of Orthopedics is aimed at people who have a GRADUATE, DIPLOMA or LICENSE in any health career, who want to work for others as Technical Manager, or who want to work on their own by opening their own orthopedics and have to apply for the operating license to manufacture medical devices to measure, as well as those who group different components of serial manufacturing for a particular patient.
