Define the competencies of Ophthalmology as a branch of Medicine and differentiate it from similar professions.
To know the functioning of the immune response of the ocular system.
To define the concept of medical emergency, as well as the causes and symptomatology associated with ophthalmologic emergencies.
To know the different ophthalmologic alterations that can be treated in the Emergency Department.
Explain the performance of the ophthalmologic examination performed in each of the ophthalmologic emergencies.
Perform the differential diagnosis of ophthalmologic emergencies based on the symptomatology indicated by the subject and the diagnostic tests performed.

Además recibirá los materiales didácticos que incluye el curso para poder consultarlos en cualquier momento y conservarlos una vez finalizado el mismo.La metodología a seguir es ir avanzando a lo largo del itinerario de aprendizaje online, que cuenta con una serie de temas y ejercicios. Para su evaluación, el alumno/a deberá completar todos los ejercicios propuestos en el curso. La titulación será remitida al alumno/a por correo una vez se haya comprobado que ha completado el itinerario de aprendizaje satisfactoriamente.
This course in Ophthalmologic Emergencies prepares you to face emergency situations in the field of ophthalmology in a safe and effective way. It provides you with the knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate and diagnose acute eye problems, as well as to apply the appropriate treatments in each case. In addition, it trains you in the management of traumatic eye injuries and teaches you how to communicate effectively with patients.
